Consumer sued debt collector alleging violations of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and parallel provisions of state law. On cross motions for summary judgment, the District Court, José A. Cabranes, Chief Judge, held that: (1) actions of debt collector in continuing to call consumer's office after consumer instructed it not to call her at work because calls inconvenienced her violated Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and (2) debt collector's communications with consumer's secretary in connection with collection of consumer's debt violated Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Plaintiff's motion granted; defendant's motion denied.
