Collection letters mailed in care of the consumer's attorney have violated this portion of the FDCPA. Heintz v. Jenkins, 514 U.S. 291, 292, 115 S. Ct. 1489, 1490, 131 L. Ed. 2d 395 (1995) (“a lawyer with that law firm, George Heintz, wrote to Jenkins' lawyer.â€
