Glenn Shaull and his firm represent individual consumers regarding a wide range of consumer issues including but not limited to violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act "FCRA", Fair Debt Collections Practices Act "FDCPA", Truth in Lending "TILA" and Lemon Law claims. We also defend individuals who have been wrongfully sued in state court by collection agencies, credit card companies, high interest rate loan companies and buyers of defaulted debts. We have represented individuals from all over the State of Alabama including, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, Tuscaloosa, Blount, Walker, Madison, Etowah, Bibb, Cullman, Perry, Hale, Greene, Chilton, Calhoun, Dallas, Autauga and Elmore counties. He is admitted to practice before all Alabama State Courts, Federal Courts in the Northern District of Alabama and the Middle District of Alabama. He will soon be admitted to practice before the Southern District of Alabama. We are committed to protecting the Rights of Alabama consumers from abusive and predatory business practices.
Mr. Shaull takes most cases involving FCRA and FDCPA violations on a contingency fee basis. He has represented numerous clients in both Alabama State and Federal Courts and is admitted to practice before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta. Mr. Shaull currently serves as the Alabama State Coordinator for the National Association of Consumer Advocates "NACA". NACA is a group of over 1000 attorneys nationwide who represent consumers victimized by fraudulent, abusive and predatory business practices.
Mr. Shaull graduated from Birmingham School of Law in 1991. He graduated from Troy State University in 1985 with a double major in Public Relations and Advertising. He worked his way through law school working full time for law firms specializing in defense litigation. He then went on to work for the Jefferson County (Bessemer Division) District Attorney and a large Plaintiff's firm.
Mr. Shaull recently was co-host of a weekly radio call in program on WAPI 1070 A.M. in Birmingham concentrating on current consumer issues. He continues to be a media source regarding consumer issues including FCRA, FDCPA, identity theft and other credit related problems including abusive debt collections.
Mr. Shaull, along with other local and state attorneys recently led a training seminar at Fort Rucker, Alabama for JAG officers and staff concerning credit and collection issues involving our Military Personnel. He also represents Military personnel regarding the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. He continues to speak to groups on a wide range of consumer issues. He also participates in training seminars sponsored by the Cumberland School of Law, continuing legal education department instructing other lawyers and their staff members on consumer issues.
Mr. Shaull serves on the Board of Directors for God's House Kindergarten and Day Care. He is an active sports enthusiast and coaches his son's youth soccer team. Mr. Shaull routinely attends several training conferences each year sponsored by the National Consumer Law Center (NCLC) and the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA).
